PRIVATE DWELLING, CRIMPLE VALLEY

This project demonstrates how a new house can be unique in design quality whilst at all times showing respect to and understanding of historic vernacular. To ensure the integrity of the surrounding historic building stock is maintained this proposal recognises its place along the timeline of history. Whilst reflecting architecture of a time gone by, it also presents itself as a building ‘of its time’; that is, an innovative piece of architecture that reflects the identity of its local surroundings in a beautiful manner that remains true to its original intentions.
