EBBAS LODGE

Ebbas Lodge is a unique, linear dwelling that carefully responds to its setting within the historic grounds of St Ebba’s Hospital.

A creative form influenced by its surroundings and articulated with a soft palette of sustainable materials, the proposal reflects the highest standards of architectural design with the aim of significantly enhancing the immediate setting.

Through extensive native species planting and a provision of new habitats and ecosystems, the proposal increases the amount of biodiversity across the site, encouraging further wildlife growth and foraging.

This replacement dwelling, by reason of siting, scale, massing and height, will result in a significant reduction in visual impact on its Green Belt setting compared to that which was originally present.
