Cadogan Corner, LONDON
Occupying a triangular plot, Cadogan Corner represents a contemporary interpretation of the ‘Victorian Terrace’ to which it adjoins. Utilising a single colour palette, the façade explores the textural qualities of materials to provide subtle contrasts and detailing whilst the form and proportion responds to the adjoining Victorian terrace.
With the buildings facing south to Victoria Park and the rear defined by the proximity to the main road, the internal arrangement is organised around a central atrium and accessed via a three-storey narrow stair. Views are then directed towards the park whilst daylight penetrates deep within the plan.
