THE RIFLE HOTEL & PUBLIC HOUSE
This project involves the development of the former Old Suffolk Punch, a two storey Victorian pub deemed to make a positive contribution to the conservation area. Following significant historic research and justification into the building and pubs more broadly, we were able to justifiably extend the building both vertically and horizontally (the building’s historic facades remain intact) in a historically appropriate manner. The new accommodation houses a hotel - a use which ensures the retention of the public house use (which was previously closed due to lack of custom) for many more years to come. A welcomed development by the planners and locals alike.
